Ask anyone who has visited and that’s what they’ll say.  We love it so much we’re sharing it with all our cycling friends.  We hope you’ll come and join us.

You will love the smooth, fast roads leading to some of Australia’s most challenging mountain climbs.

First we’ll take you over Towonga Gap, through Happy Valley and back to Bright (122km), next a trip up majestic Mount Buffalo, one of the longest climbs you’ll find anywhere – 33km of unending climbing up to 1600 metres in an 80km ride.

If you loved that, you will really relish the 110km ride to Falls Creek, taking in Towonga Gap and Mt Beauty on the way.  It’s a lovely climb with lot of s-bends and a fast descent.

We have a real treat in store next.  We drive to Whitfield, from where we take in a really stunning climb up to Power’s Lookout and down to Mansfield for lunch.

When the weather is reliable, we’ll head up to Mt Buller, Victoria’s most popular ski resort.

Also in warmer months, we’ll do the mother of Australian mountain climbs – Mount Hotham (108km).  There’s a good reason we leave this until last.  It’s long (30km) and unforgiving.    Make sure your cluster has a 25 cog because you will use it.  You’ll also need to bring tights, jackets and booties, as the weather on the 1900 metre summit changes quickly and it’s not unusual to find snow on top when it’s warm and sunny below.

You will love cycling in this most magnificent part of the Australian Alps where each season shines in all its glory.  Surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in Australia, Bright itself has a welcoming cafe culture offering hungry cyclists delicious treats in warm and friendly cafes, wine bars and restaurants.

We offer personal training, group training camps and hosting for cycling teams in bunk house accommodation for groups or bed and breakfast for singles and couples.

Our next training camp is open to individuals who have good fitness and can comfortably manage a 60km ride at around 26kph.  Space is limited, so don’t delay. \n This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it soon for more information.
